ISL: Sunil Chhetri scores stunner, Bengaluru FC beat ATK to go top of the table

first_imgSunil Chhetri found the back of the net in a stunning fashion as Bengaluru FC (BFC) beat ATK 1-0 in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Sree Kanteevara Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.With the win, Bengaluru FC went on top of the league table with 18 points from nine games.On the other hand, ATK have managed only one point from their last two matches and currently sit seventh in the 10-team table with nine points from eight games.It was Chhetri who stood up once more for BFC and sent the supporters into frenzy at their fortress. In the 39th minute of the match, Chhetri intercepted Conor Thomas’ loose pass and opened up space for himself on the right foot.
