FS1On Tuesday night the College Football Playoff committee revealed its penultimate rankings heading into Championship Weekend. Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame held steady while Michigan dropped from the top four after a devastating loss to Ohio state. The committee bumped Georgia into the top four, setting up a date between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Georgia. Oklahoma and Ohio State rounded out the top six and are the only other two teams that have a legitimate shot at gaining a playoff spot. The top six teams, apart from Notre Dame, will be in action this weekend with a spot in the playoff on the line. College football analyst Danny Kanell doesn’t think that’s fair.Kanell took to Twitter with a hot take about the Irish. Not to be overlooked in this invitational we call a “playoff”- we’re just okay with letting Notre Dame sit at home while everyone else lays it on the line one more week??When is enough enough and we move to a legit playoff??? CFB fans deserve better!— Danny Kanell (@dannykanell) November 27, 2018Should Notre Dame be forced to play another game in order to make the playoff?Regardless, the Fighting Irish sit undefeated on the season and a primed for their first CFP berth.
