Westmeath to relish playing in Semple Stadium

first_imgFacing Tipperary in the qualifiers will be a big test for Westmeath according to their manager Michael Ryan.With a young panel and only 13 hurling clubs in the county, travelling to Thurles to take on the Premier will be a big ask for the Leinster side.However Waterford native Ryan says playing in Semple Stadium is something the Westmeath players should relish.. That game throws in at 5 o clock on Saturday.Meanwhile, in the curtain-raiser, the Tipperary senior camogie team take on Limerick at 3 o’clock.Limerick were defeated well by Cork last weekend, and former Tipp star Geraldine Kinane says she believes Tipperary have the advantage going into this game.We’ll have full live commentary of both the camogie and hurling games here on Tipp FM from 3 o’ clock on Saturday.
